BITTER BLOOD, EPISODE 1 it’s been a while, but i did a recap thing… [HERE] (which you don’t have to read)
i’m actually pretty happy with episode 1… and looking forward to more in episode 2! for some reason, some of satou takeru’s angles remind me of kamenashi kazuya’s angles from about 10 years ago (i admittedly have not watched anything with kame recently)… also, i was surprised to see furukawa yuki. i didn’t know he was going to be in it. :o
the series seems mostly light-hearted, but the cases are pretty serious. (i also don’t know if my friends and/or their kids are affecting me more, but i started tearing up when i saw a kid being threatened… i mean, i used to get sad and panicked.. but i don’t think i got teary-eyed from watching a relatively short hostage scene before. memory could serve me wrong. XD; )
This is the surprise promised by the official site: images of the main cast of Lupin the movie
The film is still being edited and should be completed by the end of June. The production also wants to focus on overseas distribution and some clips could be presented to the 67 Cannes Film Festival (as was done for Captain Harlock ^^, but it is still to be decided). According to the film producer Yamamoto they have tried to give an image of the characters closer to the current reality, making changes to their comic-book form, like Lupin’s sideburns that aren’t in the movie.
"What they don’t understand about birthdays and what they never tell you is that when you’re eleven, you’re also ten, and nine, and eight and seven, and six, and five, and four, and three, and two, and one." -Sandra Cisneros, "Eleven"
Oh no this is super adorable
I finally stopped to take a closer look at this and oh my GOD this is amazing.
